Polar Plunge – January 13th

It’s that time of the year to get Freezing for a Reason!

On Saturday, January 13th the Pelham Police Department, a member of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, will host a Polar Plunge, to raise awareness and money for Special Olympics Alabama.

This event, in the frigid waters of Oak Mountain State Park, is open to all ages 12 and up. Thanks to iHeart Radio, our high school plungers have an extra incentive to raise money. The high school that raises the most money wins a free pep rally from iHeart Radio!

Here’s how to register: Go to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/polar-plunge-for-special-olympics-tickets-38877258928

We’ve reduced registration for our high school plungers. Registration is $25 for an individual, $100 for a team of 4, and $5 per person to enter the highly competitive costume contest. After you click on the green Tickets link, before you proceed, tell us what school you are with using the “Enter Promotional Code” above the tickets. This will ensure you get the discount.

Here are the promotional codes for area County High Schools. Use “CHELSEA” if you are a team from Chelsea High School, use “CHELSEA 1” if you are an individual.

CHELSEA, CHELSEA1
