Q&A with January Students of the Month

The Buzz recently caught up with the students of the month for January and asked them a few questions. Here is what they had to say.

Faith Sibert – 12th grade Student of the Month
Q: How does it feel to be Student of the month?
A:“It feels good to know that a teacher thought to nominate me. I always love representing my school and my grade.”
Q: What is your favorite subject and why?
A: “My favorite subject is english because I love to read.”
Q: Who is your favorite teacher and why
A: “My favorite teacher is Mrs. Freeman because she cares about her students, and I can talk to her about anything.”
Q: Name 3 things you like to do outside of school and why for each one?
A: “I love to dance, I have been dancing since I was three. I have been a Chelsea Cheerleader since middle school. I love the excitement of getting the crowd pumped up. I am very involved at my church. I attend on Sundays and lead a small group on Wednesday nights.”
Q: Who has influenced you throughout your life and how?
A: “My mom is my role model. She lives for the Lord, unashamed and has taught me so much about life and love.”

Victor Rincon – 11th grade Student of the Month
Q: How does it feel to be Student of the month?
A: It feels great to be student of the month.
Q: What is your favorite subject and why?
A: I like math and English because I can compare them to real life.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher and why?
A: I like all of my teachers because they are nice.
Q: Name 3 things you like to do outside of school and why for each one?
A: I like to hang out with friends,work out, and babysit my little brother.
Q: Who has influenced you throughout your life and how?
A: all of my teachers because they prepare me for the real world.

Elliot Gage – 9th grade Student of the Month
Q: How does it feel to be Student of the month?
A: Terrific!
Q: What is your favorite subject and why?
A: “I like science, because the job I am interested in deal a lot with it.”
Q: Who is your favorite teacher and why?
A: “I like Mrs. Freshwater because she’s a good teacher.”
Q: Name 3 things you like to do outside of school.
A: “I like to play sports, hang out with friends, and study for upcoming tests.”
Q: Who has influenced you throughout your life and how?
A: “My parents have influenced me throughout my life and they did so, by pushing me to get good grades, and strive to do my best at everything I try at.”
