Chelsea High School’s Class of 2016 is almost in the books.

The senior class will wrap up all exams Friday morning, pick up graduation tickets in the afternoon, and turn its focus to Tuesday afternoon’s ceremony at Samford University.

Many seniors are done completely with exams, while a few others had to return to the halls of Chelsea High on Friday morning to take a foreign language or make-up exam.

On Monday morning, the seniors will gather at Liberty Baptist Church in Chelsea for the senior breakfast, which will begin at 7:45. After that, they’ll load up on buses and head down to Samford for graduation practice.

Tuesday’s official commencement ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m. For the second year in a row, and in order to accommodate an expected large crowd, it will be held at the Pete Hanna Center, which is Samford’s basketball arena.
