The Junior League of Birmingham is offering a scholarship to a female student. The JLB Academic Scholarship is a non-renewable scholarship. Awards are given in the amount of $5,000.

Eligibility: 1) Be a current resident of Jefferson or Shelby County. 2) Enroll as a full or part-time student in a two- or four-year college or vocational-technical school. 3) Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. 4) Demonstrate active participation and leadership in community activities. 5) Demonstrate leadership skills and potential for leadership success. 6) Exhibit financial need.
