The Chelsea High School wrestling team wrapped up its season by competing February 14-15 at the state tournament. The competition was held at the Von Braun Civic Center in Huntsville. Chelsea finished in eighth place in the overall team standings in Class 6A.

Preston Royster was the top individual finisher for the Hornets, coming in fourth place in the 170-pound division.

Elliot Gage finished in fifth place in the 195-pound division, while Adam Byerman also finished in fifth place – in the 126-pound division. Robert Montgomery finished in sixth place in the 220-pound division

Other Hornets competing at state were Hunter Ingram, Bear Maxwell, Collin Burroughs, Casey Stewart, Connor Mims, Kalob Johnstone, and Carson Khalidi.
