The Chelsea High show choir, Out of the Blue, with Ms. Dick as the sponsor, has fared well recently at a pair of competitions.

Out of the Blue first competed Saturday, January 25 at the Capital City Classic in Montgomery. At that event, the group earned awards for Best Vocals, Best Choreography, and Best Show Design, and were also first place in their division.

Out of the Blue also competed Saturday, February 8 in Albertville at the Albertville Diamond Classic. They earned first place overall in their division there as well. 

Upcoming competitions for Out of the Blue are February 15 at the Purvis Show Choir Invitational in Purvis, Mississippi, and February 22 at Jasper Foothills Showchoir Classic in Jasper, Alabama.
