US Senate Youth Program

The William Randolph Hearst Foundation is sponsoring the 58th Annual United States Senate Youth Program. You can visit their website (www.ussenateyouth.org) for more information.
We are allowed to submit one student’s name (11th or 12th grader). To be submitted you must write an essay and take a test. We will choose our nominee on the best written essay. Applications are then reviewed and scored at the state level. Ten semifinalist are interviewed. Then, the state will choose two finalists to receive a $10,000 scholarship and represent Alabama during the week’s internship in Washington DC.
If you are interested, please email Ms. Fowler by the Monday, Sept 23rd at 8am.
