Good Luck to SkillsUSA Team at State Leadership Conference

The CHHS Choral Department is hosting a Community Choral Festival Tuesday – 5:30pm-7:30pm – music in lobby and auditorium – food trucks – tickets $5 – proceeds benefit CHHS choral program

Ambassadors will host Powder Puff Football Thursday at 6pm – proceeds benefit the Alabama Cancer Association

Advanced Theater students will be performing their student directed one-acts on April 18th at 6:30pm. 4 plays for $5

Parent meeting for the Class of 2020 is Monday, April 22 @ 6pm

Girls’ Basketball Evaluations: April 29th-May 3rd – 3:15 pm to 5:15pm – Enroll into Google Classroom Girls Basketball Tryout 2019-2020 (Code: 1whihf) and See Coach Harlow by Thursday 25th April to sign up. Must have updated physical, concussion, and release form

Baseball plays at Homewood tonight and hosts Northridge Friday in the first round of the state playoffs – games @ 4:30pm and 7pm – Saturday if necessary

Softball won the Stanhope Elmore tournament – play at Sumiton Christian today, play at Helena Tuesday varsity @ 5pm – jv @ 6:30pm, host Pelham Wednesday and play at Springville Thursday varsity @ 5pm – jv @ 6:30pm

Boys’ Golf competes at Sylacauga Invitational Monday, hosts Helena Wednesday, hosts Ben Russell Thursday

Boys’ Soccer defeated Pelham to clinch the Area Championship, travel to Northridge Tuesday and host Chilton County Wednesday for Senior Night

Girls’ Soccer hosts Chilton County Wednesday for Senior Night and travel to Auburn Thursday

Girls’ Tennis competes in Regionals today at Briarwood

Boys’ Tennis competes in Regionals at Opelika Tuesday

Track competes in the Shelby County Championships Wednesday

Clubs

PALS – You asked for it and we are bringing it back for spring 2019. Starting Friday,  January 25 we will have breakfast club again. The classroom will be open at 7:00 for you to bring your breakfast items and for us all to spend time together. Sara has worked hard at figuring out what we need and has made a sign up list, see Google Classroom to sign up. If you sign up for an item please be sure to bring it that morning as the event cannot happen without all of you!!!

FCA: meets Thursday mornings in the gym at 7:10. Come for games, food and fellowship. We would love to see you there!

CHHS Tennis is selling Comfort Color 3/4 zip pullovers for $45 each. We have 4 colors available: Pepper Grey, Mystic Blue (Chelsea blue),  Mint Green, and Crimson. You can get the Chelsea “C” in white or blue screen printed on the left front pocket area or leave the area blank.  These are for both male and female.
