9th and 10th Grade Girls
It’s that time of year again to recruit for the Girls Can Construction Camp. The purpose of this one-week camp is to introduce girls to the world of construction. It is hosted by Alabama Power and other local and national companies in partnership with Shelby County Career and Technical Educational Center. We are looking for girls who are currently in 8th, 9th, or 10th grade and want something fun and interesting to do this summer. To catch a glimpse of last year’s camp, click on the video link below.

This year’s camp is scheduled for June 10th-14th from 8:30am to 3:00pm each day and will be held at the Career and Technical Educational Center in Columbiana. This is a one-of-a-kind learning experience and is designed to be challenging, yet fun! The attached application must be completed and turned in to Mrs. Maddox no later than Thursday, April 18th.
