Ayers named Miss Chelsea High School

Sophomore Alli Ayers won the top honor and was named Miss Chelsea High School at the recently-held Miss Chelsea High School pageant at the CHHS auditorium.

The pageant, which was held at 7 p.m. on Feb. 15, consisted of three stages. The first one was an interview with the judges where the contestants were asked a series of questions. They range from there favorite book to what college they would like to attend and why. The second one was the beauty walk, where the girls walk in their ball gowns while the emcee gives information about the contestants such as likes, dislikes, achievements, and how they would like to prosper in life. The third stage was the top eight, which do on-stage questioning with the judges.

From there on the scores were calculated and the winners announced.

Joining Ayers as a winner were first alternate Madison Eddy (10th), second alternate Kirkland Thomas (12th), Senior Elite Reagan Giles, Junior Elite Brianna Traffica, Sophomore Elite Kiersten David, Freshman Elite Jessyn Pendley, Miss Congeniality Ali Hann, and Miss Photogenic Emily Haupt.
