Each year, the Birmingham Network offers a scholarship to an entering GT freshman from the Birmingham area for his/her freshman year.

This is a competitive scholarship which involves evaluation of the following criteria: GPA, class standing, test scores, extra-curricular activities and an interview with Network representatives. Much of this information is derived from the application made to the GT Alumni Association (on-line), student’s resume and the interview.
If a student receives a full Presidential Scholarship from Tech, they will not be able to also receive a Birmingham Network scholarship.

Once application has been made to the Georgia Tech Admissions Office for admission to GT, the next step is making application to the GT Alumni Association on their web site for the Birmingham Network scholarship.

Enter your zip code at the bottom of the page and click “Search”. On the next page, enter your name, etc. and check “Regional Network Scholarship”. Complete the application.

The on-line application to the Alumni Association by a senior must be completed by January 25, 2019.
