Chelsea looks for second straight win against Calera

On Friday, October 26 Chelsea Hornets will go to Calera to play the Eagles. The game will take place at 7 p.m. at Calera High School.

Both Chelsea and Calera are 1-7 overall. And Chelsea just got off homecoming week and their first win. Hopefully the Hornets can pull off their second win of the season this Friday.

One of Calera’s best players, Jayson Jones may cause a struggle for our offense. This defensive tackle is committed to Alabama for the class of 2020.  He is a four star player at 6 foot 5 in height and he weighs 322. The Chelsea offense has been struggling this season so maybe they can show their improvement by competing hard against this Calera defense.

In these two teams last meeting in 2009, the Hornets lost 48-40. The all time record Chelsea has against Calera is 9-20-1, which means they only win 31% of the time they play this team. The chances we win this Friday are not great, but coming off of our first win and a bye week I think that Chelsea is prepared.
