Weekly Plans: October 8 – 13

This week we are collecting donations: gently used clothing and household goods for Make-A-Wish Alabama.  We have been challenged by Homewood High School – our opponent Friday night.  The game will be broadcast on WABM68 – and sponsored by America’s Thrift Stores.  Community members can call 800-964-4567 or go to donateforwishes.org and request a free home pick up for appliances.  Each school will receive 5 cents per pound of donations and the winning school will receive an additional $250.
