Emily Honeycutt, a senior here at Chelsea High School, was named as the 12th grade student of the month for the month of September.

Emily participates in many clubs and activities around Chelsea High School.

Asked what her hobbies are, Emily replied, “I enjoy hanging out with my friends, watching football, and traveling.”

After graduation in May, Emily plans to attend Troy University with plans to major in marketing and advertising.

Emily chose her junior year of high school as her favorite so far because she had a lot of fun and didn’t have to worry about college yet. Her favorite subject is history because she finds it very interesting and says the right teacher always makes things fun.

The Buzz also asked Emily how it makes her feel to be student of the month. She said, “It makes me feel good and like some of my hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.”
