The Chelsea High School Hornets clinched a resounding victory in a boys varsity baseball match against Benjamin Russell High School on Saturday, March 11. The final score of 12-6 was a testament to the Hornets’ exceptional performance on the field, which saw them dominate from the start.

Bryson Mormon was the star player for the Hornets, going 2/3 with a double, 2 RBI, and 2 runs. Coty Fortenberry, Jackson Morgan, and Aiden Hughes also contributed to the team’s impressive tally, each recording at least one RBI in the game.

On the pitching front, Logan Moller was the standout performer, pitching for 4 innings and not allowing a single earned run while striking out 4. Steven Shelton also put in a solid performance, securing the save and striking out 3 over 3 innings, with just 1 earned run allowed.
