The Horatio Alger Association offers scholarships for high school juniors. They provide financial assistance to students who have significant financial need and have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity. The scholarships range in award value from $10,000 to $25,000.

Eligibility criteria includes: high school junior, demonstrated critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income), U.S. citizen, be involved in co-curricular and community service activities, display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, hold a minimum GPA of 2.0, and exhibit a strong commitment to pursue a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university in the United States.
