Sports have big impact on CHHS students

Sports have helped many students around the world with managing time.  Chelsea High School has helped many students find something other than academics to excel in. Chelsea High provides, baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track, volleyball, and wrestling.  As previously stated, some students like sports, and tend to stay in public schools that offer sports.

I personally came from a school with no sports.  It was all based on academics, which was the Alabama School of Fine Arts.  The Alabama School of Fine Arts (ASFA) is a school for the talented and academic excelling students.  I did like the school, but then there was too much work there for me to handle.  I then decided to come back to Chelsea High School.  I knew it was not going to be the same, but the things I missed out on was, P.E. (Physical Education), Sports opportunities, bus transportation, and early dismissal. At ASFA, we would get out about 4:40 P.M., which was a big deal.  At Chelsea High Students get out at about 3:00 P.M. and reach their home no later than 3:50, at least for the students that are on my bus.

Chelsea High School is mainly known for their superiority in sports, but not so much in academics. On February 2, there were 10 students that got signed out of all the seniors that play sports.  Sports has shown to increase brain activity as studies show.  With memory increase, comes with better performance in daily activities.  So, sports has been able to help many students with better grades and their sport overall.  As young adults, students have stress.  This stress cannot be lost so much.  Sports can help because when you strike a tennis racket with the tennis ball, your stress level tends to go down.

Overall, sports has a huge impact on Chelsea High school and mental activity of students.
