Championship Weekend Predictions

Hunter Chamblee takes a shot at picking four of the biggest games for championship weekend in college football.

4 Washington vs 8 Colorado: This game will be big for the PAC 12 in that if Washington wins they should be in the playoffs. If Colorado wind then there will be talked to let them in but without chaos will not be in there. The big players to watch is the quarterback as Jake Browning could still win the heisman but the Colorado quarterback Sefo Liufau is very talented and might be the reason they win. I see an upset coming by the Buffaloes, Colorado wins by 7 to upset number 4 Washington.

Oklahoma St vs Oklahoma: This is a unofficial title game in that winner wins the big 12 but this not a title game because the big 12 doesn’t have a title game but the winner gets the title. If Oklahoma wins they will be in talks for them to make the playoffs but will most likely not make it. It will be more of how well does Baker Mayfield plays because if he does well Oklahoma is very good if he doesn’t then are not very good but they do have a very big play maker in Dede Westbrook. I think Oklahoma will have a very good showing and win by 10.

1 Alabama vs 15 Florida: Alabama had been destroying everyone and has been the wire to wire number 1. Florida has been not that good and is more of a average team in a division with below average team and Tennessee who can’t finish a game or can’t get going until the second half. Alabama has just been too good this season and will run through their defense is just too good and the offence is very good. Alabama by 28.

6 Wisconsin vs 7 Penn State: Wisconsin has been very good this year with a great offencive line and a very good defence with J.J. Watt brother T.J. Watt. The Penn state offence is lead by McSwirly and Saquon Barkley who has been very good running back. The game will come down to the Penn state offence vs the Wisconsin defense. Penn State by 3.
