College football is just around the corner

College football is arguably one of the most exciting seasons for sports fans.  Everything about college football is amazing.  The atmosphere of every Saturday is just electric.  Every season of college football is great to watch especially with the new playoff system. Although, this year there are many reasons why the 2016-2017 year is going to be something to watch.

Last year, Alabama beat Clemson 45-40 in a close championship game behind the run game of Derrick Henry and the arm of Jake Coker.  This year, the Clemson Tigers are back and championship hungry.  Returning starters Deshaun Watson and Wayne Gallman have all they need to win a national championship.  Also, in the mix for title contention is a team from Ann Arbor, Michigan.  This team, the Michigan Wolverines, have one of the best young core teams and are led by a former NFL coach, Jim Harbaugh.  And, as always, watch for some talented upset teams to get in the playoff spotlight like Boise State, Penn State, and Houston.

As usual, the college football season starts with talks about who will lead their team in tackles, touchdowns, and carries.  Everyone in college football knows that the most all-around player wins the Heisman trophy.  This year there are many familiar names competing for this highly-esteemed trophy like Christian McCaffrey, Leonard Fournette, Deshaun Watson, and the breakout sensation Saquon Barkley.  All of these players will try to lead their teams to the 2017 National Championship Game in Tampa, Florida.

As the weeks go on, college football gets more exciting as the games get more intense and important.  Every week, there is a primetime game that will determine the fates of these college teams.  For example, in week three Oklahoma sees Ohio State.  Also, Stanford visits the Fighting Irish in week seven.  And the game everybody loves the most, Alabama plays Auburn in the Iron Bowl in week thirteen.  For more must see games visit Here.
