Chelsea ran its record to 3-0 on the football season Friday night with a 48-3 victory over Valley. The win also made the Hornets 1-0 in Class 6A, Region 3 play.

AJ Jones had another big game for Chelsea. The senior running back had 151 yards and three touchdowns on the evening – all in the first half. Junior running back Zalon Reynolds added 82 yards and a touchdown on just seven carries.

Chelsea will look to stay unbeaten when it travels to Chilton County for another region contest on Friday night.
